Hot honey, the latest food sensation combining sweet honey with fiery chilli spice, has grown in popularity in recent months.

As this flavour combination is set to become the food trend of the year, Aldi has launched a new range of products to satisfy Britain's growing appetite for sweet and spicy combinations.

The budget supermarket is introducing five new hot honey products, from party food essentials to everyday dinner staples, with some items available now and others launching in early December.

The range includes festive party bites, flatbreads, crisps and a special collaboration sauce, all featuring the trending honey-chilli fusion.

Leading Aldi's hot honey range are two new party food offerings, perfect for the festive season. The Specially Selected Hot Honey Pork Belly Bites, priced at £3.99 for 350g, promise tender meat with a chilli kick and can be prepared in either the oven or air fryer for optimal crispiness.

Complementing the range are the Specially Selected Greek Feta and Hot Honey Bites, available for £2.99 per 200g pack, which combine crumbly, salty feta with sharp hot honey flavours.

Both products will hit Aldi's shelves on December 6, just in time for Christmas entertaining.

For shoppers eager to try the trend immediately, several hot honey products are already available in Aldi stores nationwide.

The Specially Selected Hot Honey Flatbreads, priced at £1.49 for two, feature hand-stretched dough with honey, chilli and dried rosemary, ideal for sharing or creating lunch wraps.

The supermarket suggested topping the flatbreads with pulled pork and pickled cabbage for a flavourful meal.

Also on shelves are the Specially Selected Honey, Chilli and Camembert Crisps at £1.15 for 150g, offering a festive twist with their combination of sweet, spicy and creamy flavours.

Rounding out the range is a special collaboration between Aldi and Sauce Shop, bringing a seasonal twist to the hot honey trend.
