GB News star Eamonn Holmes says the number of school closures have left him baffled - adding he never had a day off school due to heavy snowfall.

The Met Office has warned of dangerous conditions with yellow weather in parts of Birmingham, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the east of England.

Parents have been urged to check whether their child’s school is closed.
