A retired police detective has claimed that the "unprofessional" police at Manchester Airport "should have kept their cool."

Speaking to GB News, Retired Scotland Yard Detective, Mike Neville said: "What we need is officers who are professional and hold their cool. And that's especially true with firearms officers.

"Firearms officers are highly trained, and we expect them to really maintain their cool at the right times. And it just looks to me, unfortunately, like the officer lost it here."
