Tributes for the family of BBC Sports presenter John Hunt have begun to pour in after the news that his wife and two daughters were named in connection with the Bushey murders.

Carol, Louise and Hannah were found seriously injured at their £800,000 detached home. They died despite the efforts of paramedics.

Kyle Clifford is wanted in connection with the murder of the three women who were found fatally injured in a house just after 7pm on Tuesday, with Clifford is understood to be the ex-boyfriend of one of the daughters.

Former police officer and BBC Radio Five Live presenter Hunt raised the alarm when he returned home and found his family, with the police urging the public "not approach and dial 999 immediately" if they spot Clifford, who is currently on the run.

The BBC recently released a statement on commentator Hunt as police continue to search Enfield for wanted Clifford, who is believed to be carrying a crossbow and possibly other weapons.

Its statement read: "The news today about John Hunt’s family is utterly devastating. Our thoughts are with John and his family at this incredibly difficult time and we will provide him with all the support we can."

Since the news was revealed, tributes to the family and Hunt have begun to pour in with Racing TV writing on X: "Everyone at Racing TV is shocked and saddened by the tragic deaths in Hertfordshire. Our condolences to John Hunt, his family and friends, at this dreadful time."
