US Commentator Lauren Chen has condemned the "perverse" goings on at US pride events, after street celebrations in San Francisco and Toronto saw individuals engage in "sexual acts" and full frontal nudity.
The parades, which were described as family friendly, received several reports from concerned Americans after multiple instances of public nudity and sexually explicit performances were witnessed.
Organisers of the Family Pride event at the Church Street School in Toronto, where some of the reports were made, said: "Family Pride is a fun-filled experience on the grounds of Church Street School.
"Here families can indulge in face painting, a magic show, storytelling, and so much more."
Addressing the incidents on GBN America, Lauren Chen said the "argument for simple equality has taken a backseat" in place of more obscene acts during public pride events.
Chen also condemned the pride events being "accessible to children and families" when they are "pushing the envelope of being perverse".
Discussing US pride with GBNA host Tom Harwood, Chen explained: "These events don't just display people dressing in drag, like we've seen before, people wearing rainbow attire, but we're actually seeing full on sexual acts.
"We are also seeing full on nudity and actual things like, unfortunately, urinating in people's mouths happening at these pride parades, which is disgusting."
Chen highlighted that it is "especially shocking" that the pride events in some cases are being "marketed towards families" when these acts are allowed to take place.

Lauren Chen warns UK ‘outright degeneracy’ from trans activists is making its way from USBiden criticised for 'Trump-like ego' as he continues to deny ill health: 'Lying to us!'Democrats 'negligent and blind' to the truth of Joe Biden's health: 'Disgraceful!'
Chen told GBNA: "No matter how you spin it, it is especially shocking considering a lot of these parades are for some reason pegged as family friendly events.
"You often have children in the mix where you see these sexual acts happening and where there is nudity. And like I said, even even things like urination happening at these parades. And so a lot of people are wondering, why is this allowed to happen?"
Reflecting on public behaviour laws and the acts of nudity and indecency at the parades, Chen argued that public lewdness laws are "clearly not being enforced" during Pride celebrations.
Chen asked: "Does this descent into utter perversion represent the whole of the LGBT movement at this point?
"Is this what we are supposed to take away from things like pride and the rainbow flags? Just utter depravity?"
Chen then claimed that as a result of such incidents at pride events, it suggests the "argument for equality" for the LGBTQ+ community is "taking a backseat".
She concluded: "It seems like the argument for simple equality has taken a backseat, to now trying to push the envelope for again, these disgusting acts.
"For them to become more mainstream and now even accessible to children."
