US President Joe Biden has been accused of "lying" and being "fraudulent" with the American people about his health, as he continues to deny his cognitive ability is declining.

The 81-year-old Potus (President of the United States), who is running for a second term this November against predecessor Donald Trump, has remained defiant about his health and dismissed claims of an inability to lead.

In an interview with a US radio station, the President mistakenly said he was the "first black woman to serve with a black president".

Speaking to ABC in another interview, Biden stated that he "has a cognitive test every single day" with "everything I do".

Discussing the President on GB News, commentator Freddy Gray accused the Democrats of "covering for him" in a bid to hold on to power ahead of the August convention and November election.

Gray explained: "If he has a major slip up at this at this Nato summit, I think the calls for him to go will become overwhelming.

"That said, if he's not willing to go, how do you get rid of him?"

Host Isabel Webster argued that it would be a "huge concern" for the Democrats if Biden did decide to step down, as all of the money raised under his name would be "ineffective", unless Vice President Kamala Harris is chosen to step in.

Gray agreed, responding: "Increasingly a lot of the donors are saying we can't go on with Joe Biden, and they're now talking about doing a blitz primary with other candidates."

Weighing in on the discussion, host Eamonn Holmes claimed that "something is ailing Biden" and "everybody can see it".

He told GB News: "Spokespeople are saying he's not being treated for Parkinson's disease, but a blind man on a galloping horse can see that this man is not right."

Discussing the Democrats and their handling of Joe Biden, Gray criticised their "phoney" approach in denying any ill health, and claimed the Washington press corps has "known for years" about the President's condition.

Gray added: "They were all covering for him in 2020. And the incestuousness between the Washington press corps and the Democratic Party is one of the reasons why we've gone on with this charade of pretending that Joe Biden is fine for a long time, when he clearly isn't.

"I think one of the interesting things about Joe Biden is his ego. Is Trump-like in its size, he's an extremely proud man.

"He genuinely believes it's his destiny, a divine destiny to beat Donald Trump and to do it again, and it's very hard to persuade someone that that's not their destiny."

Eamonn agreed with Gray, adding: "The awful thing is him pretending he's fine. He either doesn't know, which case he has to be stood down.

"Or he does know, and therefore he's lying to us and it's fraudulent. And his family should intervene on this as well."
