Thames Water have issued a notice to residents in Surrey, warning them not to drink tap water after a fuel leak.
A total of 616 households in Bramley Village are being urged to avoid using their water supply for drinking, cooking and brushing their teeth.
Bottled water stations are being set up in Bramley following a historical fuel leak from the village petrol station.
Thames Water has been carrying out additional water sampling in the area since October 2023 when a large fuel spill at a nearby petrol station forecourt polluted streams.
The "do not drink" warning has been issued while further investigations are performed.
