A man, who almost forgot to buy a National Lottery ticket, has won a "life-changing" amount of money.
George Muir and his partner, Sandra McCormack bagged £145,757.50 in the EuroMillions.
The couple from Fife are now planning an early retirement after Muir luckily bought the winning ticket just hours before the draw on May 3.
Although the pair aren't planning on finishing work immediately, they do plan on retiring "several years" earlier than expected.
Muir - who works for a hydrogen renewable energy firm - said the things that they have "always dreamt about" can now become a reality.
He said: "I always play a month in advance and always purchase my EuroMillions tickets online.
"It was 3pm on the Friday when I suddenly remembered I hadn't bought my ticket."
The couple did not realise they had won the huge prize until the day after the draw - when he and his 64-year-old partner returned home from celebrating their 28th anniversary.

He added: "I was just scrolling, as you do, when I came to an email from The National Lottery telling me that there was news about my ticket.
"I just assumed that if I had won something that it would be a few pounds so I didn't rush to log in and check.
"I actually went on to The National Lottery website to look at the numbers just for the novelty value and then, to my total disbelief, I discovered I had matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number! I literally dropped my phone!
"My heart was beating so fast."
As well as the early retirement, Muir and McCormack are planning to purchase a new car and family holiday.
"Thanks to my National Lottery win I am now able to do some things I could previously only have dreamed of doing," he said.
The winning EuroMillions numbers for the draw on Friday May, 3 were 6, 9, 10, 30, 49 and the Lucky Stars were 3 and 4.
