Junior Doctor, Bhasha Mukherjee has slammed the NHS "censorship culture" that contributed to the coverup of blood contamination.
Between 1970 and the early 1990s, over 30,000 people were infected with HIV and Hepatitis C as a result of receiving contaminated blood and victims could receive a total of £10 billion in compensation, as the Prime Minister is set to make an apology today.
Speaking on GB News Doctor Mukherjee said: "Duty of candour is something that I've never known a world without. It's shocking to me that had it been done at the time we wouldn't have to fork out £10bn. Which is probably not even enough."
