In a move that would unsettle Labour, Jacob Rees Mogg has called on Nigel Farage, Richard Tice and Ben Habib to join the Tories and stop the disenchantment which has surrounded the Conservative Party.
The GB News presenter called on his party to make a “big, open and comprehensive offer” to members of Farage’s own rival party, Reform UK, by allowing them to join the governing Tories.
And he wants a place in government for Farage and sees the impact it could have on the voting public and traditional Tory voters.
Reacting to the news, Martin Daubney, who stood for the Brexit Party, gave his view on the alliance.
He said: "On Jacob's show, he said that Ben Habib, the Deputy Leader of the Reform UK party, Richard Tice as leader, and Nigel Farage, the honorary president, would be welcomed as conservative MPs.
He added: "Don't forget that Nigel stood down many candidates in the 2019 election when I stood as a Brexit Party candidate, a lot of people felt very disappointed by what happened there.
"The conservatives got an 80 seat whopping majority. Did they thank Nigel for that? Did they heck!?"
