Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn got into verbal sparring match with Ryan Garcia's dad after the boxing star's sensational victory over Devin Haney on Saturday night.
Garcia came out victorious in the blockbuster contest that was marred by controversy in the build up to the fight.
Haney was knocked to the floor three times as Garcia won on points, although he was unable to clinch the WBC light-welterweight title after missing weight for the contest by three pounds.
Garcia had garnered plenty of attention in the months leading up to the fight with his erratic behaviour online and concerns being raised for his wellbeing.
Matchroom promoter Hearn, who has close ties to Haney, had called out Garcia's behaviour earlier this week.
He called Garcia 'unprofessional' for missing weight and his comments seemingly angered the boxer's father.
Hearn was being interviewed backstage after Garcia's win where he could be heard praising the 25-year-old.
Garcia's father then walked past and then shouted: "That's what you get. You're a piece of s***."
Hearn appeared shocked as he replied: "Oh really? F*** you. F*** you. What are you talking about?"
The exchange of words continued as Garcia's father grabbed his groin and made an expletive gesture to Hearn.
"F*** you, you know you're a piece of s*** and that's what you get." Garcia Sr added.
"Now what are you going to say? Luke Campbell and Devin Haney, f*** you. Now who have you got?"
The heated exchange immediately calmed down when Hearn replied by naming welterweight title holder Jaron Ennis.
Hearn and Garcia Sr then embraced one another and shared a smile with the latter apologising for his outburst.
Hearn said: "It's a sport and when you win I'll give you all the respect you deserve. I accept your apology."
